Radiology Our Radiology Program is designed to train students on how to operate medical imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scanners, MRIs, sonogram machines, and 3D medical imaging programs among other computer and web-based software programs. Students are also taught how to perform associated clerical duties, including scheduling and maintaining paperwork for office and clinical machinery. OUR STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE MEDICAL STAFF: Assessing patients and their clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques Performing a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images Observing and maintaining contact with patients during their waiting, examination and post-examination stay in the department Recording imaging identification and patient documentation quickly and accurately and observing protocols to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and patient confidentiality.
