As awareness of global health increase, many midwifery students shift their interest to take their electives in underprivileged regions.
Are you one of them?
In the world’s poor areas with an awful condition and no running water, there are people who sacrifice to deliver health and saving lives. We are not talking of soldiers but of midwives.
These healthcare workers are at the forefront, battling to safeguard that women survive delivery and offspring are born safe and sound. Marginalized areas have left a legacy of high rates of maternal and infant mortality due to lack of resources.
A midwifery student may practice in any setting such as hospitals, community health centers and lying-in clinics (birthing centers).
GEP Limited share these moral beliefs with midwives who care and are willing to share their skills to help the poor people of the world. Our student-friendly placement rates will connect you with people in dire need of your medical attention. We will bring you to the Philippines and Kenya to provide you with the experience that will help you to become better medical practitioners. You will gain these benefits during your sojourn:
Impart knowledge about caring for infants
Teach breastfeeding techniques
Orient locals of family planning
